It’s essential to make sure that the details we hold about your buy to let property are up to date so that we can provide you with the levels of landlords insurance cover that you are expecting. So if you extend your property, change the type of locks securing the property or fit an alarm you can update all these details and more in the My Account area of the Simple Landlords Insurance website*.
Renewing your landlords insurance policy is even easier than buying it to start with.
We’ll send you an email reminder prior to your policy renewal date. All you need to do is log on to your My Account area and ensure the property details are still accurate and that you still have the cover you need for the coming year. Once you’re happy with these details it’s just a case of making the payment by Credit/Debit Card if that’s your preferred payment method. Alternatively if you decided to pay by Direct Debit originally then it’s even easier as there’s nothing to do as your payments are already set up.
If your circumstances change or you change your mind you are able to cancel your Simple Landlords Insurance policy from the My Account area as well.
Simply login to your My Account area and locate the policy you wish to cancel under the My Policies tab. Then select the ‘Cancel from start date’ or ‘Cancel’ option for that policy.
