Residential landlords on the south coast will be able to learn about their expectations and responsibilities during a meeting later this month.Gosport Borough Council is hosting its Landlord's Forum on October 22nd, which will allow those involved in residential lettings to ask questions about any issues they are unsure of, the Southern Daily Echo reports.Speaking to the newspaper, councillor Stephen Phillpott, the council's chairman of housing, explained that the aim of the meeting is to "promote consultation between the council and private landlords"."The forum will also be an effective arena for landlords to exchange views, experiences, news and tips with each other and it will provide a great opportunity for them to learn from one another," he said.Those wanting to know more about landlords insurance will also be able to ask questions and learn from the experiences of others.The forum, which runs between 16:00 and 19:00, will take place at The Chapel in the St George's Barracks area of Gosport.Landlords discovered this week that the average tenant age had increased to 28 from 2006's figure of 25.Get a landlord insurance quote today from Simple Landlords Insurance.
