Landlords insurance information to be made available in Loughborough

Residential property owners in Loughborough wanting to know more about landlords insurance can attend a free advisory surgery later this month.

Charnwood Borough Council is hosting the event at its offices in Southfields Road on October 26th between 16:00 and 18:00, inloughborough.com reports.

People wanting to learn about the day-to-day aspects of property management will be able to get advice from the council's private sector housing team, particularly those interested in its Tenant Finder service.

This has housed more than 60 families since its establishment in April last year, providing landlords with the reliable tenants they require.

The surgery will also provide landlords with information on the East Midlands Landlord Accreditation Scheme, an initiative that encourages and reward good property standards in addition to good management practices.

It was announced by the Association of Residential Letting Agents last month that demand in the rental market had returned for the first time since the onset of the recession.
