Residential landlords in the UK could be among those to be interested in recent price cuts announced by a household energy supplier.Landlords who offer properties on an all-bills-included basis could save four per cent on their dual energy bills with the new tariff being offered by Scottish and Southern Energy. The cuts will see the average customer's annual bill fall from £1,192 to £1,162.Ann Robinson, director of consumer policy at price comparison website uSwitch.com, said: "This is great news for consumers - at the moment it's just a two horse race, but today's move should tip the balance in favour of more suppliers joining the field with price cuts of their own. "The fact that the country's two biggest suppliers have acted to bring their prices down will put more pressure on the remaining four suppliers to do the same."However, despite the price cuts, figure from uSwitch revealed that the supplier's customers will still be paying bills that are £287 or 33 per cent higher than in January 2008.Get a cheap landlords insurance quote today from Simple Landlords Insurance.
