We're delighted to announce our wider customer service team has been accredited a prestigious Gold Award for the 3rd year in a row - from Investors in Customers (IIC).

Simple Landlords Insurance is part of Direct Group, whose customer service team looks after the Simple Landlords, Simple Home, Simple Caravan, Maras, Scratch and Patch, Littlewoods and Very Home insurance brands – to name but a few.

The award follows an independent assessment of sales and claims by customer experience agency IIC, which rates and benchmarks businesses on four key areas – understanding customer needs, meeting customer needs, delighting customers, and loyalty.

Head of Operations at Simple, Richard Truman, says: “Here at Simple it’s our job to make landlord insurance as clear and painless as possible – getting people the right cover at the right price. That means people keep coming back to us.

“We’ve seen customer behaviours change a lot over the last few years, we’ve adapted our services and solutions to meet those needs – and we’ve anticipated those needs, too.

“Knowing what customers want, having the products they want, and delivering them with the minimum of fuss, are basically a winning combination. And while that sounds – well – simple – it’s actually taken a lot of work and dedication from the team.”

The IIC accreditation comes on the back of another award for Direct Group at the 2018 Insurance Times Claims Excellence Awards, where Direct Group scooped the Award for Claims Service Solution of the year.

“Listening to customers and finding solutions is something we pride ourselves on at both Direct Group and Simple Landlords,” adds Richard. “Every single person here really does put the customer first, and we’re all absolutely chuffed to have that recognised.”

Simple Landlords Insurance has also won awards for best landlord insurance provider at the Property Wire Awards 2017 and 2018, and best landlord insurance provider at the Landlords and Lettings Awards in 2016.
